Crystals for Depression

Not every problem has a clear solution or explanation. This is something I feel rings true with many emotional problems most people face.  Depression and anxiety are such common mental disorders that still hold a stigma around them.  While sometimes these issues can embed and root themselves deep within, they can also just dwell on the surface, making the break out of a spell much easier.

Which ever depth of depression and/or anxiety you suffer from, all help is good help.  Even if it is something as simple as taking comfort in a mineral.  Remember to always seek all possible avenues to alleviate your depression and/or anxiety to find what works best for you. While medication is an excellent option for some, it isn’t for everyone.  Exploring your possibilities is the first step to becoming a happier you.

I can’t emphasize how much I agree with this. As understandable as it is, people are too ready to reach out for pills when there are so many other ways of combating mental illness. All of those paths should be exploited first, such as meditation, exercise and diet.

Is there a specific technique that works for you out of interest?

I tend to focus on working through my depression and anxiety. With my anxiety, putting myself in more uncomfortable situations helps me work through it as well as work to strengthen myself against it. As for depression, I use exercise, vitamin C and drink more coffee to help myself pull through the darkness. I always pull through a spell using these methods, sometimes it is a matter of time.

I have been studying crystals for the last year now and my curiosity has lead me to this post, what minerals could help ease someones symptoms as another alternative to popping pills.
